The Media Workshop is situated in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and is an MICT Seta-accredited training provider, offering vocational qualifications in Film and Television Production, as well as skills programmes and short courses in an array of media production-related skills. All our courses are facilitated by industry experts, with an emphasis on applied learning. The Media Workshop has close contact with major broadcasters and publishers.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Students are introduced to industry experts and their work is submitted for possible publication or broadcast. The Media Workshop is also a media production company, offering television production and journalistic services. The Media Workshop develops screen content producers who create sustainable businesses, telling local stories with universal appeal. We do this by providing accredited training programmes, producing quality screen content and incubating innovative productions. All projects serve as training vehicles for learners.
